PEPPERS FROM INFERNO

CIAO TUTTI!!!

Ok, first to explain the title. It was just a mistake I made in Italian this week. I meant to say Pepperoni da forno (peppers made in the oven) but instead I said peppers from inferno.... or hell. hahah! and they weren't even that hot! ok not that funny. I guess you had to be there :) 

Anyway this week was alright. I got really sick so I've been walking around Foggia looking like a half dead person with a bad runny nose. That was super fun.

OK GOOD STORY!|!!! Do you remember a couple of weeks ago when we went to this place called Lucera and there was a guy there and he tried to kiss me??! Well.... this week we went to Lucera again and we were finding (which was actually really effective!!!) Anyway we are walking and suddenly we hear!!!! FELICE!!!!!! (ahhh) and I look over and the SAME CREEP IS RUNNING AT US!!!!! So Im just like "crap Sorella keep walking, keep walking!!!" he catches up to us and just..... lets just say it was bad! hahah! He went to give me a handshake and i'm stupid and so I went to shake it and then ONCE AGAIN he tried to pull me in to kiss me. I ducked though and he wouldn't let go. I was literally running away but he was still holding my hand..... ahhhhhhhhhhhhh. So we are never going into that area of Lucera again!!! hahah! There were a bunch of old men watching that were so distressed... like what do we do, what do we do, hahah! Don't worry though, I survived!!! 

ok, other than that we have just been working like usual. We've gotten so many dropped appointments in the last two weeks which has been difficult, but I LOVE FINDING!! so not too bad. 

anyway thats about all I have for you guys this week. But before I go I just want to share something that has been on my mind. I have such a strong testimony of the plan of salvation and a testimony of the gospel. I know that if we live the gospel here on earth and we do everything we can to follow Jesus Christ we will all be blessed and be able to live together in heaven. On my mission I've REALLY come to realize how important our relationships are with the people we love here on earth. It is so easy to forget and to take advantage of those we love and easy to forget to tell them that you love them. On the mission I have not had the opportunity to tell all of you that I love you every day and to give you all hugs and kisses. I've realized how IMPORTANT you all mean to me. I just want to tell you how much I REALLY LOVE EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU!!!! I love you all so much and you all mean the world to me. Please keep doing your best to follow Christ's example and keep choosing the right so that one day we can all live together again. It would hurt so bad to not have those we love close by for the rest of eternity. I LOVE YOU and miss you more!!!!! un grande bacio da me.

Well, this week went well! I LOVED GENERAL CONFERENCE!!!!!! ahhhhhh! I just love love love this church and I have such a testimony of living day prophets!!!!! General Conference should be every week I swear!!!!! 

Anyway what happened this week... hummm conference was awesome.. i already said that. In Italy (well actually I'm sure in most of the world except utah and idaho) everyone watches conference at the church. We also have such a different time difference we watch it at weird times like Six at night. So saturday we watched the Women's Conference (in italian) and then that night we watched the Saturday morning session!!!! IT WAS soooooo goood!!! I think that was my favorite session!!! Then Sunday we watched Saturday afternoon session and Sunday Morning. Because it was during lunch time no one came… Seriously. The Bishop wasn't even at the church. hahaha! Don't mess with Italians and their meal times!! I still haven't seen Sunday afternoon session so we will be doing that this week. 

This week it rained A LOT!!! Luckily we never got caught in it (well actually it is way fun to get caught in the rain.) 

Umm this week one of the Sorelle in the ward had her baby and there were a lot of complications... So they had the Sorelle go over every day to help her out. So we went over one day and all i did was IRON FOR HOURS!!!!! They seriously iron everything here!!!!! And when I say everything I mean EVERYTHING!!!!! I was ironing baby booties and snow hats and just the weirdest stuff!!! weird cultural things… but it is service right?? and that is why we were there. 

I don't know if I have said this yet but one of the best things about Foggia is the food!!!! ITS SOOOO GOOD!!!! Since we are close to Napoli, we have mozzarella di buffala (which is GOLD here!!! everyone claims that there mozzarella is da buffala but its not true..... however here it it!!!!) So because we have the most prime mozzarella in the world we have the BEST pizza!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also the gelato is to DIE FOR!!!! All the gelaterias are opening soon for spring and summer so..... watch out Foggia, Sorella Felice is here!!! hahah jk

I'm sorry that my emails have been soooooooo boring these last couple of months... you guys probably have stopped reading them! hahah.... I promise Italy is still crazy exciting I just see it all the time so its normal to me now. I did see a lady pooping behind a tree today.... thats all the crazy stories I have for you. Sorry.

So our investigators are not doing as well. Concetta and Miriana both passed there baptism dates without getting baptized.... Concetta gave us a no-show this week and didn't come to General Conference so we are really worried about that. She is still awesome I just dont think she knows the importance of these steps she is taking. She has almost quit smoking and her only problem is getting Roberto to marry her and quitting coffee. 

Miriana is doing alright. She finished all her lessons and can get baptized tomorrow if she wanted to she just cant get permission from her Dad. We have tried to get the members involved with her parents but we haven't even been able to meet them so we are working really hard on that. 

Anyway thats about all folks. LOVE YOU ALL SO MUC!!!! MWAHH!!!!

Well this week not much happened to tell you all about. Just some hard work. Today we went to a small village outside of Foggia and it was really pretty!!! We got to go hiking for a bit so we wore our regular clothes which I've never done on a p-day...  it felt so weird!!!! It was right on the Adriatic Sea and it was SO BLUE!!! We just walked around on the beach for a while and we found some cool caves and took some pics in them. Umm... then we met some nice Italians that were dressed up like Indians (Indians from the country Indians, not Native Americans) and they were super nice. They gave us a ride back to the main city and we ate really crappy expensive pasta (not good at all and cost me 10 euro!!!!!!!) so that was fun...

So transfer calls came and im staying in Foggia! Wahoooo! Not much changed.. only one Anziano is leaving and guess where he is going.... COSENZA!! ahhhhhhh! So lucky. He called us and he is said "Cosenza? Is that on one of the islands.... i dont know where it is" hahahah so lucky!!! Anyways. One of the members fed us lasagna this week and she gave everyone these HUGE pieces. Like it must have been half a pan!!!!!! I was going to die!!! The pasta here is good but the lasagna is nothing like Dads!! I ate it anyways, and my stomach did not take it very well..... hahah oops. 

umm thats about it sorry not a lot to say this week
